THE Ayrshire Hospice retail team was excited to receive their delivery of this year’s new hospice Christmas range at the Kyle Street shop in Ayr this week.

The hospice Christmas shop is now open and showcases the new range of beautiful hospice Christmas cards, gifts and accessories.

Christmas cards supplied by the hospice, are hugely popular throughout Ayrshire, generating much needed income.

This year’s stunning range is the best yet, with over 70 designs of beautiful, high quality cards, Christmas badges and the ever popular hospice calendar for 2017.

The calendar this year features local wildlife at home in stunning Ayrshire landscapes, photographed by local Ayrshire photographers. The front cover is a winning photograph taken by Carina Ferguson from Maybole, of a majestic stag in Glen Rosa, Arran.

Claire Stuart-Paulin, Senior Fundraising Officer said: “I am like a kid at Christmas when the new Christmas cards come in. Each one is more beautiful than the next making it very difficult to decide which ones to buy!

"Our 2017 calendar is also on sale and includes wildlife and farm animals pictured in beautiful Ayrshire landscapes. As an animal lover I think it is just amazing!”

Regular opening times are Monday–Saturday, 10am–4pm and the shop will remain Christmas themed right through to December.

Shop volunteer Eleanor Clancy spoke about working in the shop: “I love working in the shop, it’s a fabulous place, the people are lovely and our customers are so generous.

The cards this year and beautiful, there is something for everyone and of course all the funds raised go directly to the hospice – so everyone is a winner.”
