Week-long roadworks are set to take place on the A77 near Girvan.
A signed diversion will be in operation on the road, with the works taking place between Sunday, November 19 and Monday, November 27.
Amey are undertaking essential bridge deck resurfacing and expansion joint replacement on the A77 between 8pm and 6am each night.
Transport Scotland has said that this scheme will benefit around 8,500 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
The works will take place at Bridgemill, 500m north of Girvan.

The diversion route is as follows:
A77 northbound traffic will be directed from Bridgemill Roundabout to B734 towards Dailly, will continue straight on B741 towards Crosshill and turn left onto B7023 towards Maybole. From here traffic will turn left onto Whitehall, continue straight onto Kirkoswald Road and rejoin A77 at Maybole Bypass.
A77 southbound traffic will be directed from the A77 Maybole Bypass onto Kirkoswald Road and will continue straight onto Whitehall. From here traffic will turn right onto B7023 towards Crosshill, turn right onto B7023 towards Dailly and continue straight onto B741. From here traffic will continue straight onto B734 towards Girvan and rejoin the A77 at Bridgemill Roundabout.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
