The Daisy Chain shop and Prestwick Post Office is urging customers to be kind after incidents of abuse in recent days.
Owners Stephen and Cherlene say staff have been faced with abuse, and that it will not be tolerated any more.
A spokesperson said: "A gentle reminder today as we have had a few incidents over the last few days. We believe in kindness in our business.
"Stephen and I will not tolerate any unkindness or abuse in any shape or form towards us or any of our team.
"My staff and I are extremely experienced in what we do and don’t expect the kind of abuse we have experienced these last few days.
"Every Post Office are self employed and not employed so the rule in our business is kindness!
"Thank you to our team for all their hard work and dedication you give to our community."
