Plans have been lodged to install fresh signage at Nationwide in Ayr.
The branch, which sits in High Street, has applied to South Ayrshire Council to modernise its branding.
New signage includes the replacement of overhead signage, ATM surrounds and decals, and window signage.
A new window message titled 'A good way to bank' will also be installed as part of the plans.
The company says that the original fabric of the building will not be alerted, removed or concealed, and that all existing original features will not be affected.
Planning documents state: "No discussions have been made with neighbours in relation to the proposals.
"The works are not considered to have any adverse impact on neighbours.
"All works are intended to involve the minimum intervention and preserve the original look and feel of the existing building within the context of its position in the Conservation area."
The full application can be viewed on South Ayrshire Council's planning portal.
